Well, it’s true that he’s a stereotype, he is a cliché, but I don’t agree with you on the “badly portrayed”. I know gay men who are the opposite of those clichés, but I also know gay men who are pretty much like that, so why Felix can’t represent that kind of gay men?
Yes, they could’ve chosen to portray him as a “normal” person, without the sassy and explicit gayness, but I don’t know, I’m not complaining about it, he’s pretty awesome ;)
I believe she said she hadn’t consider bisexuality (?), because I find it hard to believe that an adult person hadn’t at least once think about her/his sexuality… But I do believe someone could be bisexual without ~knowing it, I mean, if the circumstances weren’t right that person could’ve denied or suppress (whatever you want to call it¿?) her sexuality. And yes, that commercial is a good example. If it were two guys kissing, people would probably be shocked or alarmed at least, but it’s two girls so it’s ok…
I agree with you on Orphan Black, it is a serious relationship and I hope it continues to be that way.
